Imagine a planetary gearbox as a miniature mechanical solar system. The central “sun gear” acts as the system’s driving force, with multiple “planet gears” orbiting around it on specified paths. These planet gears are held together by a “planet carrier,” which guides their movement as they transfer power from the sun gear to the outer ring. Surrounding the entire system is a “ring gear” with internal teeth that interact with the planet gears to manage power flow.

By controlling which component remains stationary or moves, engineers can manipulate both speed and torque. For planetary gear reducers, when the sun gear drives the system while the ring gear is fixed, the planet gears rotate and move the planet carrier. This configuration increases torque while reducing speed.

These planetary gear reducers are engineered to be both compact and highly functional, accommodating the needs of a range of industrial sectors.

The HPL series currently comprises 13 sizes, with nominal performance ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 Nm. Therefore, the planetary gear producers are suitable for both light and heavy-duty applications.

The Worm gearboxes use a synthetic 320 grade, and the helical and bevel helical range use a mineral 220- grade oil. We have all different types of oil available for all the gearboxes ranging from 220 to -460 grade in both mineral and synthetic, including food grade oil.
